It is rumoured that decent coffee is hard to find in Tokyo. We heard great things of About Life Coffee Brewers, Shibuya, so we headed that way one balmy Saturday morning.
Coffee: Delicious. Like properly delicious.
Value: Very reasonable, ¥300-450 (And possibly your second cup is half price, well ours was! Again, my Japanese was unable to decipher if this is a regular service or if we just scored this time round.)
Atmosphere and service: Friendly, fast, personal. Good times, as long as it's not raining and you don't mind standing.
My two cents: I loved the iced coffee with milk, their tiny selection of organic treats (orange almond muffin), and from what I could see their hot coffees were a rich golden brown, with optional creamy milk. Perfect for when it gets cooler outside.
And you?: Have you been? What did you think? Have you had any good coffee lately?
