A Surprising Tip: Disneyland Tokyo

We went to Disneyland Tokyo the other day, however this time we did something a little different: we went with another family and their kids.

Best. Idea.

I would never have thought of this. Usually Jesse and I walk through the gates, scout fast passes, memorise the map and begin high tailing it from ride to ride.

We literally strolled through Disneyland. Have you ever done that? Suddenly the streets felt wider. Everyone was exceptionally friendly and helpful. Do you feel like stopping and admiring that caramel corn stand? Why, yes I do, thank you, and I don't mind waiting to actually try it for the first time ever, either, because I'm not worried about this long line.

We ate at whatever restaurant we felt like, we casually went on the Jungle Cruise and Train, sat and talked and enjoyed each others' company. Snacks and meals were unbelievably tasty as they were patiently appreciated. And the kids, of course, were adorable.

As was this guy! Pushing our friend's pram. Love you babe.

Let's be real people. Disneyland rides? Ain't all that great to begin with. But the Disneyland atmosphere? That is where the magic's at. Disneyland day out for the win!

What about you? Any great tips for theme parks? Do you have any hints for enjoying outings more? I'd love to hear!
