Weekend Ideas In Tokyo

What are you up to this weekend? This week summer has bullied its way into my days, at 34 degrees upwards, and almost unbearable between 8am and 9pm. (I'm sorry, isn't that an ENTIRE day?!) It's time to go hard or go home, and embrace it I think. We heard there is a Latin Festival in Yoyogi Park, which equals food of rare variety, and spicy, and most certainly dancing. Which equals yes, to me. I hope you have a lovely weekend!

Here are some weekend ideas in Tokyo:

The Caribbean Latin America Festival, Yoyogi Koen.

Cy Twombly contemporary calligraphy on paper exhibition, Hara Museum of Contemporary Art, Shinagawa.

And if you are feeling adventurous, Aizome (Indigo Dyeing) workshops, at Kosoen, Nagabuchi (would we call that Tokyo?!), would be fun. Definitely on my weekend wishlist!
